This home was originally built in 1912 and the character shows from outside to in! Shiplap was of course everywhere but covering it up was woodlike paneling which was used for added insulation back then! A few other amazing charactoristics of this house is walnut trim in the master bedroom, built ins, and old car siting on ceilings!

There is so much to be done to this house first we will of course demo everything. This helps with rewiring the electrical and restructuring the house. It also allows us to get a much better design idea. Along with electrical and structure we will be replacing the roof all windows and adding a little more character to the front porch! And yes this is just the outside work!!!!!!!

On the inside of this home we will be doing new floors throughout, unfortunately the floors had to come up do to restructure.(sad day) We will be removing a few walls and using columns for added support. This will be mainly done in the dinning and sitting room leading into the Kitchen giving us a little more of an open floor plan while still allowing some separation between rooms!! The cabinetry is awesome so i will strip the varnish and paint them a nice white or light grey (still not sure) (check our Instagram and maybe you can hep decide)!! Countertops will be concrete and Butcher Block with a surprise for the backsplash! (I'm going to try and do this without Nick so he can't say no to my eclectic tile choice:) The rest of the house will be painted shiplap with some sheet rock on the walls that had to be removed.Plans for the upstairs are easy leaving everything original even the floors!!! Eventually we will add a small bathroom on the top floors for guests!
